Savage Charts

By Adok/Hugi

Savage Charts is a chartsmag edited by Biter from Poland. It works with the Panorama engine by Chris Dragan, which was originally developed for Hugi. Three issues have been released so far. All of them are available at scene.org and have been downloaded about 300-600 times.

Savage Charts #1

Savage Charts #1 was released in December 2006. It features excellent graphics by Tomasz Maronski and very good music by Traymuss and Yero. There are only PC charts, Amiga charts and party results in this issue. 30 people voted in the following categories: grous, demos, intros 64k, intros 4k, demos 16s, crazy-demos, diskmags, slideshows, musicdisks, coders, graphicians 2D, graphicians 3D, graphicians image processing, musicians, ascii/ansi artists, diskmag editors, text writers and parties.

Savage Charts #2

Savage Charts #2 is from June 2007. Content-wise, nothing has changed except two categories: best demos 16s was replaced by best short demos, and best crazy-demos was replaced by best wild-demos. The opening, background and closing pictures were done by OmeN2501, the music by Traymuss (three tunes) and Trybeo (one tune). 41 people voted this time.

Savage Charts #3

In October 2007, Savage Charts #3 was released. This time 105 people votes - much more than the prevous two times. The graphics were again created by OmeN2501. The music is from Filip Skutela, Michael Jorns, Trybeo, Michael Wave and Agathka. There are the same charts categories as in #2, and there are also some party results included in this issue of Savage Charts.

Savage Charts #4 was announced for early 2009, but not released yet. Lamb of Futuris shocked people at the scene.pl forum when he said that Biter was dead, but then he cleared up that Biter is not dead in a physical sense, he is just "dead as we speak in terms of the work on savage charts ... and with some sick addition from myself to make it louder."
